Here is our new rubble system. Basically most all blocks have a high chance convert to some kind of scrapped version of themselves, like concrete turns into rubble, metal turns into scrap metal piles, and wood will turn into scrap wood.

Here is a screenshot of the craftable (after scrounging for lots of parts) minibike we’re adding for Alpha 12. Also shown is a motor bike temporarily dubbed “Duke’s Hog” which we will add later. It will be upgradable with armor.

Here is a shot at the new steel pickaxe. It’s a lot better than the iron pickaxe (which has been nerfed some) and it looks pretty spiffy IMHO. Steel crafting is gated by a rare book, at least until we get skill trees properly implemented. Also now that we have a grass render distance option I went ahead and beefed the grass thickness back up so our forests look much nicer again

Here is the first glimpse of Alpha 12, and I’m sure a welcome one at that. People have been waiting for bears now for quite some time and I have been one of them. I got the model in the game and running around, and Joe will give him some special programming behaviors.
